Holiday Spinach Salad Wreath

Ingredients –

3-4 cups baby spinach

1 Bosc pear, washed, skin-on, cut into thin slices

1 cup whole red seedless grapes

1/4 cup goat cheese (or blue cheese if you prefer)

1/4 raw walnuts

your favorite vinaigrette dressing

Unrefined sea salt and freshly-ground pepper to taste


1. Place a 4-inch bowl upside-down in the center of a larger round serving platter. Using the small bowl as a guide, neatly arrange the spinach in a wreath form around the bowl.

2. Fan 3 to 4 pear slices at 5 equal spots around the wreath. Place 4 to 5 grapes in-between. Sprinkle the goat cheese crumbles and walnuts in-between the pear and grapes.

3. Top salad with freshly-ground black pepper, if desired. Carefully remove the bowl from center. Serve with dressing.
